It’s week 4 of the One Room Challenge and this means that we’re at the half way point! Hopefully you had a chance to see my original mood board, but if not, CLICK HERE to check it out. There are so many other talented DIYers and designers participating as guests so make sure you CLICK HERE to visit the One Room Challenge page.
Progress
Taping off the color blocked section for the room
My absolute favorite painters tape is Frog Tape! It’s never failed me and it proved to be a favorite yet again. To get a perfect seal on the tape make sure you run something along the seam to add pressure (I used a putty knife but you could also use a credit card or something similar)

Painting
I couldn’t be happier with how this pink looks in the room. I don’t think that the photos can even do it justice! I went with Seaside Villa by Behr for the paint color and it seems to be the perfect pink. Not too bright, not too bold, not too bubble gum… it’s just right.

What’s Next?
There are so many things that can happen this week, but I’m honestly not 100% what I’m going to work on. I THINK I’m going to work on assembling the twin bed frames and need to go ahead and order the mattresses. I also want to try and get the curtain rod hung and hopefully add in the new curtains. From there I want to start working on some DIY accents for the room (banners, pillows, gallery wall, etc).
