Creating a Fun and Moody Basement Bathroom
With 2 full bathrooms and 1 half bathroom already in our home, I wanted the basement bathroom to stand out as a unique and exciting space. Since the basement primarily serves as a man cave for my husband, I aimed to create a design that felt fun and moody, with a mix of masculine and feminine touches.
How I Achieved the Look:
- Deep Paint Color + Classic Molding: I opted for a rich, bold paint color (Pencil Point by Behr) to set the tone and paired it with traditional molding for a timeless feel.
- Masculine Elements: Dark wood and black metal accents keep the room grounded and give it a more masculine vibe.
- Feminine Touches: I softened the look with a floral wallpaper and gold accents to bring in a hint of elegance and balance the overall feel of the space.
Check out the photos below for a more detailed look of the space.
