MONDAY: Graphic Tee + Stretch Denim Workpants
DIY List Tee
Who wants to wear a plain black t-shirt when you can wear a graphic tee that speaks exactly to your craft? This DIY List Tee is equal parts comfort and style.
There’s a reason why these are a classic! These jeans can be worn while tackling a project but transition to everyday wear for running errands, spending time with friends, or for dinner out.
Coveralls are perfect for painting! They keep you and your favorite clothes free from paint! Another perk is that you don’t have to worry about if you get paint on them or not.
Wearing appropriate close toe shore sis important when handling heavy materials and machinery but i think it’s okay to wear something a little more comfortable when painting indoors or working on crafts.
It’s important to take a day off from DIY, work, or projects to just enjoy and rest. Sunday brunch, church, or time with family are some of my favorites! Why not come up with an excuse to dress up?
Today I’m sharing THREE cute dresses that look good on any body shape, but that are also super accomodating for a new (and nursing mom).
One of the hardest adjustments for me during pregnancy and over the last 5 weeks has been seeing my body change so drastically and so quickly. While pregnant, I had to watch my body change to adjust to growing a human…. and now it’s changing again as I lose the “baby weight” while also producing food to keep that human alive.
I’ve been so blessed that I’ve already lost about 70% of the weight I gained during my pregnancy BUT of course my body shape is completely different than what it was before and that means I can’t wear a lot of my old clothing. My hips are wider, my chest is bigger, AND I didn’t exercise at ALL while pregnant, so I have very little muscle definition in my arms and legs.
I went on the hunt and found three dresses you can wear for different activities; fun, work, and relaxation.
FUN: Button Front Tiered Maxi Dress – $29.99
Who doesn’t love a good maxi dress? This look is perfect for a summer picnic or casual backyard BBQ. This dress has functional buttons but it’s also lightweight. The printed fabric screams “SUMMER” to me.
V-Neck Strappy Button Front Tiered Maxi Dress
This dress is extremely comfortable and I can see it transitioning well into early fall. It would pair well with a demin jacket and suede boots.
The dress runs a little large to me. I orginally ordered this dress in a size medium but had to exchange it for a small. This small is actually still a little big (and long) on me.
